General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)
The General Product Safety Regulation, GPSR 2023/988, come into effect from December 13, 2024. The purpose of this regulation is to ensure that all consumer products on the EU markets are safe, and it establishes specific obligations for all sales channels to ensure this. The General Product Safety Regulation acts as a safety net for products or risks not regulated by other EU legislation.
To achieve this, we will:
- To the best of our ability, ensure the safety of our products in line with GPSR requirements.
- Create procedures that strive for compliance with the rules and effective market surveillance.
- Create conditions to handle incidents when dangerous products have reached the market.
