WARRANTIES

A 2-year general warranty applies to all products marketed through the online store/at www.simons.se, except for products labeled as "RAY Outlet" Items." For RAY Outlet items, only the swedish Consumer Purchase Act applies – this means you have the right to return products with clear manufacturing defects.

For exhaust systems marked "Top Quality" and "SS Quality," the warranty is extended to 5 years regarding rust-through or failure of the product despite what would be considered normal use of the product (see further details below). However, the extended warranty does not cover mounting parts, seals, or clamps.
The extended warranty covers the functionality of the exhaust system and does not include discoloration of surfaces or so-called "surface rust" – corrosion that can arise from deposits of salt and other road particles that can build up on stainless steel surfaces. (Surface rust can be removed by thoroughly cleaning the item).

The supplier’s warranty responsibility does not cover faults caused by unforeseen working conditions or improper use. Thus, the warranty does not cover, among other things, faults caused by incorrect installation, modifications without the supplier’s written consent, improper repairs carried out by the customer, normal wear and tear, or deterioration. The warranty further applies only if exhaust system products are used on the intended vehicles and engines in standard condition (maximum 10% tuning). The warranty does not apply to racing use. For sports systems, the sound level may change slightly after some use, and Ray Metallfabrik AB disclaims any responsibility for claims in regard to this.

Regarding universal parts, the warranty only covers clear manufacturing and material defects. In no case does the warranty cover surface treatments.

Conditions for warranty claims are that the receipt/invoice with the purchase date can be provided. If you purchased your product through a retailer, you should always contact your point of purchase first.

For parts that are exchanged or reworked by the supplier under the supplier’s warranty or are arranged by the customer with the supplier’s written consent, the same warranty applies as for the original product.
