By using full-flow silencers and larger pipe dimensions, backpressure in the system is reduced. Lower backpressure means that the gases flow more easily through the system, which can result in higher power and lower fuel consumption. Especially when combined with other tuning modifications, the systems provide a significant performance boost. Full-flow silencers are designed so that exhaust gases flow through a perforated pipe directly through the silencer, which creates no more backpressure than a straight pipe in the same dimension. In some cases, this technology is combined with other methods to achieve the desired sound level and backpressure.

Simons® Sportsystem gives the car a sporty and exclusive appearance. The tailpipes are always made of stainless steel, ensuring that the finish is preserved for a long time. For many car models, there are several tailpipe options to choose from. For example, duplex tailpipes, with left + right tailpipes, can be installed on cars that originally only have a tailpipe on one side.

Full-flow silencers produce a lower tone sound, which is a desirable effect often associated with motorsport. Our goal is to achieve a well-balanced sound level with a sporty tone, without disruptive noise levels inside the car. When measuring sound, we only raise the total sound level by a few decibels, but by allowing lower frequencies to pass through, the sound outside the car is perceived as louder. A large part of Simons sports systems are EC-type approved according to the EU directives for exhaust systems. This means that the systems are designed and manufactured following strict regulations and are controlled and approved by authorities.
